YEAH I KNOW THEY WERE AN AWESOME BAND
unfortunately they did not agree on the type of music that they wanted to make and you can see this because their last album was very different from their other albums
then they had a big argument and decided that if they didnt agree on the type of music they wanted to play then they should just split up and make their own bands, like Angels and Airwaves and Plus 44.
I HOPE THEY COME BACK TOGETHER!!! they sound SO MUCH BETTER together than when they are separate.

They broke up due to the fact that Tom was constantly arguing with them. There were some other reasons but I don't remember much. It wasn't so much they didn't agree on the music they wanted to write. I mean that had some to do with it but that wasn't the man reason. Tom was just causing problems. Originally when the band broke up they said they went on haitus just to spend time with family. However that was soon discovered just a lie. Later Tom had admitted to the fighting but he lied about the cause. He had told people that it was Mark who started to distrust Tom. Tom had said that Mark felt left out on Boxcar Racer, a side project of Tom's that included Travis as a drummer. So basically it was Blink without Mark and two new guitarists. This may still be some of the cause. Tom had said that he wished he didnt get Travis to play the drums for Boxcar. He only got Travis because Tom did not want to pay for a Drummer and because Travis is a god among drummers. Later in 2006 Mark and Tom had come out about the break-up and said that was not cause and that it was really Tom that was always complaining and causing fights.

They splited up because the lead single wanted to go into another band which made that Angels and Airwaves which They rock but I think Blink 182 was a good band.

Exactly!!! They did rock!!! I think they split up because of Tom maybe cuz he wanted to join another band....But +44 and Angels and Airwaves are kool too except that I miss Blink 182 cuz they had many good songs.

I heard they wanted more time for their wives, at least the two members who have wives. They were amazing!
