If Congress introduces legislation to pull them out, or they just pull funding. With two thirds majority of Congress can impeach President. No, the President cannot overrule Congress. He can veto what legislation Congress introduces, but Congress with a two thirds majority can override his veto. Once this happens it goes into law. The President can't override Congress.

Once the congress approves war(they did, largely on Bush's assurance Iraq and 9/11 were linked, along with evidence(which wasn't true) that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Now, the congress can only cut off funding for the war. That is their only option because even if George Bush were impeached, Vice President Cheney would then be president and he likes the war very much too. Important people didn't tell us the truth at the beginning.

I think we should be very very careful the next time about approving a war.

If they could Impeach the President we would already see it happening. Lets look at Iraq in General. The Congress gave the President approval to use hostilities and it was approved by a majority of Republicans and Democrats(even Hillary). Ever since then the Democrats have bad mouthed the President, the plan and the military to create the current atmosphere. In fact the majority of Iraqis believe that they are better off now than under Saddam and only 26% believe there is a civil war going on

So even though your heart is telling you something based on what the mainstream media keeps claiming remember we are there to aid the freely elected government to gaim control of their country following their liberation from a brutal and oppresive dictator.

The Democrats have a very slim majority...not enough to impeach Bush. Also, if they did we would have Cheney as President. That is no improvement. The bill to pull our troops just passed the House, but it is going to run into problems in the Senate. Our best hope is to vote straight Democratic in the 2008 election.

There is nothing that I know of. And yes, lots of the men and women are wanting to come home, if not they would at least like to be home for a short while to visit, and bush says no!

First, Ask the Troops if they want to leave. You might be surprised at the answer. Second, Why don't you impeach your mommy and daddy for allowing you to have such thoughts. You need a good spanking.
