I just got a new video card a GeForce 8800 GTS. I hooked it up and hooked up the new power supply. When I turned it on it has a continuous high pitched beep/whine that is most likly coming from my mother board. What could be the cause of this

Open it backup, check to see that all cables are clear of all fans.

Recheck the seating of the new video card. It may not be correct and may cause all sorts of strange noises.

try to remove the video card and put it firmly again. make sure the chips fits in perfectly, if the beeps continues, try to remove the RAM and do the same, gudluck, its just probably loose.
