Have you accepted a disposition of adjudication withheld on any criminal charge?

Yes, I did. I was stupid at the time, but had no choice as I could not afford an attorney. My ex-wife accused me of domestic violence and I had two choices. Fight it in court, or except diversion. Because I couldn't afford an attorney to fight it, I accepted the diversion, went through six months of weekly classes and 1 year of diversion (a nice way and lighter way of saying probation, but still similar). When I accepted this, they did not prosecute, Adjudication was withheld, meaning I was not convicted of a crime, and when complete, the case was dropped.

Incidently, even though I was a victim in this case, I still learned something from the classes, so it was not a complete waste of time.

Still, if you can afford an attorney, you may wish to explore that route also.
