On yahoo answers I "supposedly" found hilary duff's email and IM. How would I kno if its really her? I'm not an idiot and i dont want some random person on the internet making me look like one. How can I tell if its really her or not?

this may sound silly, but there is a magazine called popstar and at the end of each magazine they often show where you can write to celebs and maybe you could write to hilary duff and see if it really is her. but she might say "no, i dont have an email address" just to protect her privacy, but maybe you can tell her you are a big fan and will promise never to give away her email address?

It's not. It really isn't. If Hillary Duff's info somehow got leaked, don't you think it would be changed in a heartbeat? I'm sure it never was hers in the first place. I repeat, any answer you get will NOT be from Hillary Duff.

If you got the email from Hilary herself, then it's probably real.
If someone else gave it to you, or you just found it from surfing the net, it's probably not real.
There's really no way to know if it's her.

Talk to the person. If they are guarded, it probrably is H.D. but if they are really open, probrably just some phoney.
