Halo is a SciFi action adventure game when a fleet of aliens known as the covenant destroy the planet of Reach. Soon, the Pillar of Autumn, a huge UNSC space cruiser makes a jump for hyperspace. But when the get through, they find the sacred ring, Halo, the artificial world created to keep the "flood" captive. the ring's real purpose is to destroy the flood, how? By whiping out their food source- every thing in the universe!

This all depends on who you ask but.... Halo is a great game, actually managing to mix good, solid shooter gameplay with an interesting storyline and excellent multiplayer. If you play it and nothing else, that makes you a fanatic. BUT you are kind of wasting the money you paid for an xbox if you only play one game!!!

i'll admit, its a fantastic game with a great storyline, and awesome multiplayer game types, but it is not, i repeat, not the greatest game ever.
if you have a 360, i'd reccomend gears of war or crackdown.
if you have an old xbox, try the call of duty games or the counterstrike games. they are similar to halo, and they are lots of fun.
i would call you a fanatic. i will admit, i used to play halo 1 nonstop. ive beaten it 50 times, found every easter egg, memorized the cutscenes. it is all right to love a game.

I think it kinda depends on how much of the day you're spending playing it…Â I mean… I like Halo - a LOT but wouldn't even put myself NEAR what seems to be you're league.
Anyway - there's a lot of other great games out there, don't just narrow your options you'll never know what you're missing out on.

I prefer the term dedicated video game enthusiast. I can't put down Gears of War. It's like drugs or something, you get addicted.

yeah halo is good but if that is the only thing you play..... your a huge fan and you are wasteing an xbox, there are so many other good games out there.
