Brown discharge means old blood, which probably means that everything is fine. Sometimes a little blood can get dislodged from your uterine lining.
As long as it's not gushing or continuous, or becoming bright red blood then it's probably not anything to worry about.
Try to relax, stressing out can make things worse.

Honey, I've had four miscarriages so I know how scared you are. Here is what I can tell you based on my experience. The brownish discharge could be normal. Many women spot in the beginning of a pregnancy and go on to have perfectly healthy babies. It's good that it's not bright red. No cramps? Good sign, but not conclusive. In my case, a couple of my miscarriages started with no cramping. Pregnancy symptoms continuing? Good sign. Nothing on the ultrasound? Not necessarily a bad sign. Unfortunately, if you are having a miscarriage, there is nothing that can be done to prevent it so don't fret that your doctor isn't jumping right on this or feel guilty that you didn't go to the emergency room.
The bottom line as I see it is that it may well have been too early too see anything. When a pregnancy is in trouble and the progesterone (which drives the pregnancy) begins falling, you start feeling better and noticing those pregnancy symptoms diminishing. If yours are continuing, that's a good sign. However, in my first pregnancy (which ended at 11 weeks), I still felt pregnancy symptoms even though the ultrasound showed it was all over. The doctor said it just took a while for my body to get the message and about a week later, I had the actual miscarriage. I know it will be hard to sleep tonight ... I've been in your shoes too many times myself. Good luck tomorrow. I'll say a prayer for you and the little one.

I wouldn't stress too much. Take into consideration you physical activity as well as if you had sex. And when they did the first ultrasound, was on your tummy, or was it vaginal? Sometimes if you have a form of penetration in your vagina, it could cause some discharge. Otherwise, just calm down. Too much stress could cause a miscarriage and I am sure you don't want that too happen. Not trying to freak you out more, but you need to just breathe and think about the good things likethe fact that you have a baby growing inside of you. You can't really determine what is normal or not normal because every pregnancy on all women are different. So what is normal for you may not be normal for me and vica versa. Just calm down and wait and see what the doctors say tomorrow. :)

I had spotting and heavy bleeding the first 11 weeks of my pregnancy. My first ob couldn't find the baby and kept telling me that I was going to miscarry. Finally after has some very heavy bleeding I went to the ER and they told me that even though my cervix was still closed that I was having a miscarriage. Well out of desperation I made and appointment with a friends mom that does sonograms for the next day. She immediately found the baby and the source of the bleeding. Apperentally it is very common during implantation to make a bruise or blister on the uterine lining which will bleed. She told me that it looked like it was beginning to heal and that my spotting should stop in a day or two. She was right! I immediately found another OB and didn't have anymore problems. My daughter is now 3!

Don't worry. It is normal for some of us to have this kind of bloody discharge even, well I should say pretty much always when you are prego. The ultrasound may not show anything tomorrow either, but it may. You could be off on how many weeks you are too.

Last august i had miscarriage at week 11 1/2 . At that time i had blood spotting without any pain or cramp, i go to doctor she said just take a rest, take it easy. When i arrived home still blood spotting every time i want to pee must husband suggest go to ER i told him just wait till tomorow morning. All night long no blood spotting but when i wake up in the morning i feel cramp, and i find a blood cloth, after that start heavy bleeding and feel pain because of cramping. I go to ER doctor said i need to had d/c because bleeding to much he cant save the baby. i was regret didnt listen my husband to go to ER. So if you worry about miscarriage dont wait till tomorrow go to ER or you will regret.
Most miscarriages occur during the first trimester. Signs of a potential miscarriage are: Bleeding (with or without pain). Bleeding is the symptom most commonly experienced, such as mild spotting, persistent bleeding Heavy Bleeding, or Passage of Large Clots
Other warning signs may be: Cramps (menstrual-like), Aching of the Lower Back ,Passage of Tissue SAVE any tissue that is expelled-it should be examined to determine whether the miscarriage was complete or partial (see below).]
Note: Blood will be red to brown in color. If a clear fluid is discharged, this could indicate rupture of the amniotic sac membranes ("water has broken"). Call a doctor promptly.]
However, there are plenty of women who have bleeding during early pregnancy who do not end up having a miscarriage.
Hope its help you

its normal. because of the increase in hormones your normal discharge changes a little bit. If you start running a fever, bleeding or cramping call the doctor otherwise calm down you will be okay and tomorrow you will see a picture of your wee little baby.
**go to www.ivillage.com and you can create a free day by day pregnancy calender to see how you baby changes and grows.
Good Luck and Congratulations :0)

spotting is perfectly normal in the beginning of your pregnancy. I suggest buying some books. Such as "what to expect when you are expecting" and visiting pregnacy.com or baby.com or ivillage.com.
