Cuba did not become communist until the late 1950's, over a decade after the end of WW2. The goverment of Cuba was completely corrupt and was overthrown by Castro and his brother, among others. They converted to communism after coming to power.

The Cuban Revolution took power in 1959, that's fifteen years after WW2. Castro took power throwing the American Casino Owners like Lansky and Kennedy out. Fulguencia Batista, General who was President grabbed the Treasury and ran.

I'm a fan of Cuba due to its progressive Social system.

The system is still in place, and nation continues to prosper. Free, high quality medical care, great education, and a strong defense.

The great Che Guevara, and Fidel, removed Batista from power in 1959.

It is still Communist, ruled by Fidel Castro, a dictator we put into power and financed!
