I am a high school student so I wouldn't know much so is it possible for me to attend both schools or are you only allowed to choose one?

I'm not sure what the policy is at USC, but I know that at UCLA, they do NOT allow you to attend both schools. My best guess, however, would be that they would not allow it, since both of those programs are so concentrated.

I'm sure the admissions office at USC would be happy to answer that question for you more specifically (and accurately.)

I wouldn't think it possible to complete both of these very rigorous programs simultaneously, no. At most, you might be permitted to choose one, and then take a course or two in the other discipline along the way.

You should contact reprepsentatives from both the Theatre Dept. and the Film Dept. with these questions; they'll tell you exactly what you want to know.

I would also say you should ask, but most colleges will not allow it for very good reason. Even though the two are very similar and are related studies, going into film or theatre is a very time-intensive study. They will expect you to be focused, determined and ready to really zero in on what it is you want to go in to.
