Kentucky is a school with high expectations. They blame Tubby a lot. Still he's been struggling last 2 seasons. Kentucky isn't a school that is used to losing 10+ games a season. They haven't made a final four since his first year as head coach. They won the title that year because he had rick pitino's recruits. Tubby is a good coach though. They can't fire him they would lose a lot of recruits. If they did it would do more harm than good. Kentucky is supposed to have the 2nd most NCAA titles and has more SEC titles than everyone else in their conference combined! Over the past couple of seasons they have done horrible in both. I think they should give him a couple more seasons and see if he improves any and if not fire him. That would make it more fair for Tubby.

Well, I am a Kentucky fan. And you make it sound as though all UK fans want Tubby gone....that is incorrect, there are still a lot of UK fans that support Tubby and knows that he deserves at least one more year before any talks of "axing" are mentioned. And its not that UK is losing more than 5 games, its that UK has been losing 10 or more games in the past couple of seasons. In case you don't know, all the state of Kentucky has is college basketball, that is the highest level of sports that is in the state(other than other college sports). There are no Professional teams in this state, so we have all our expectations set on basketball. For you to tell KY fans to get class, is completely off-the wall, KY fans are more dedicated to their team than any other fans. However, at times our fans do set UK's expectations too high, this is because they try to compare the current team to past success the University has had. Overall, UK basketball is the best and has always been and will always be(except maybe until we get a pro team). Apparently YOU are jealous of UK's past success!!!!!!!!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAAA

I love Kentucky fans. As a diehard Vol fan, there's no more satisfying bunch to have marching out of your stadium or arena than those smug blue clad bastards after a loss. Yep.
I do like Tubby though. I hated Saul Smith and hurled my share of abuse at him from the stands, but Tubby is a solid coach. Those idiots in the bluegrass state will probably run him out of town soon, if not this season. Personally, I think they're still seeing red after Pitino took the job at Louisville and it's totally clouding their already impeded judgement.
For his sake, I hope Tubby leaves Kentucky. He deserves a much better fanbase.

Kentucky is a dynasty they is expected to do well, and Tubby is just not getting it done.
I think it was a cowardly move to put UK in the hole they are in and leave. He refuses to recruit. The UK staff even tried to get him to hire some recruiters but her refused.Like I said I think it was a completly cowardly move for him to throw the program down the drain then walk away. I just hope that UK finds a better coach who might be able to build the team back up to the dynasty that it should be.
