I would not say that you can cure scoliosis, but you can take preventive measures, to keep it from getting worse. You do not say what your age or your curvature is, this would help. If you are young and still growing, they often do back braces if your curvature is not too great. With me, I had a 58 degree curve and was basically done growing, so scoliosis surgery was my only option. Without it, my spine could continue to curve, and possibly one day start to push on my organs. I have a stainless steel rod fused to my back with bone from my hip. This does not cure my scoliosis, it just keeps it from progressing, though I do look a lot better, my back is very straight now. I still am recovering and will regain most of my mobility. Right now, I still cannot bend, or jump, or lift over 5 pounds for 3 more months, but it's better than what could happen had I not had my surgery. Talk to you doctor about your particular options, and good luck.

There is pretty invasive surgery out there to cure scoliosis of the spine. A guy I worked with had the spine surgery, so it is curable. I don't believe he ever had "full" mobility of his back, but it was much better than before.

I suggest seeing a good chiropractor/kinesiologist and a massage therapist. I also have done yoga which helps.
