I am a die-hard Miami Dolphin, and Philadelphia 76ers fan. This may seem like a weird combo, but I live in Philly but grew up in Miami. I am decently young and have not seen either the Dolphins or the Sixers win their respectable title. Whether it be the painful 63-7 loss in Marino's final game, or the best time of my life watching Iverson single handedly take the Sixers to the finals in the most unlikely season in NBA history. My question to all you is: Has anyone else had to suffer year in and year out without their favorite team win a title. I'm not talking about fans who kinda watch sports, I'm talking fans who live and die with every game. Whether their favorite team wins decides their happiness for that week. I feel like I'm the only one who has to live with this, and how can a team like the Lakers and Pats do it 3 out of 4 years and such. How is this fair??

Oh I compleatly understand. I am a die hard fan of all my teams in the different sports (Atlanta Braves, North Carolina Tarheels, Indy Colts. . now that's a weird combination lol)

I know Atlanta wins alot, but my whole funny saying was 'We expect to be in the playoffs and lose in the first round.' And it was sad to see them miss it last year, but now it's time to start over.

North Carolina deffinatly has an exceptionally talented team this year and I would not be suprised if they do not win the whole thing. Their freshmen are unbelieveable!

I can't really say anything about the Colts though since they finally got their Ring.

Another thing I have to deal with is people saying that I shouldn't be cheering for these teams. (I'm from IL by the way.) People think I should be an Illini fan, or a Bears fan, or a Cubs fan or something like that. But I saw that's stupid! It doesn't matter where your from, it just matters how hard you cheer for your team!

I'm a Lakers and Cowboys fan so I don't know if I am qualified to answer the question but I love the Cleveland Indians in Baseball so I kind of know the feeling. Sometimes I just think it is about who is in charge. The Lakers have gotten great players like-Kobe, Shaq, Magic, and Kareem, so sometime I just think the people who manage or run operations aren't doing their jobs well enough and getting the right players on the team. A.I. should have gotten more help a lot time ago. Blame the man!

I am a Lakers fan,no problem with championships there, I am also an Angels fan and until recently(2002) we hadnt won the big game either and I am also a Chargers fan so I was really dissappointed at the loss to the Patriots.
since the sixers got rid of Iverson the near future doesnt look to bright.I am not to informed about Miami though.

A Die difficult fan will choose their group to win each and every sport, and whether they lose 111 video games in a season they'll nevertheless watch the final sport of the season, understanding that next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days would be extra perfect-each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days you will the international sequence, you cry whilst they do no longer, you have nicknames for each participant on your group, and all people is acquainted with to no longer call you whilst your sport is on or they might get an earful! I cuss the television, i leap up and down whilst observing video games on television, i'm in no way ashamed to placed on my group kit, and my toddlers are 4 and a pair of and that they understand the gamers because of the fact they're commonplace universal words in my companion and toddlers--i'm a real fan!

Brother, I am a die hard long time Tennessee Men's basketball fan and let me tell you about the baaad times. 3 words. WADE HOUSTON ERA. My God, I shuddered for like 15 seconds after typing that.

I bleed, drool, and see in shades of Tennessee Orange from August to around mid march (maybe longer this year?).

Now that I live in the dang middle of Patriots country, too, I am dead sick of it. These dang yanks are still clinging to their Red Sox world series and howl whenever I mention that I am loyal to the Colts via Peyton Manning's run through Tennessee.

It doesn't dictate my life though, mindya. But it has been a long time sufferin' to see my Vols finally have a respectable program that doesn't look like it will fizzle out (a la Jerry Green's team that could've done so much but didn't.)

As a Kansas City Chiefs fan, I feel your pain. I love them, don't miss a game, and the upcoming season is their time to win the Super Bowl.

Hopefully the Jayhawks will give us Kansans another chance to celebrate a championship!

I bet that hurt like hell when the Rockets killed the Sixers 124-74. I can't sleep when my teams (Astros, Rockets) lose. I literally cry. Literally.
