I saw a movie about 35 years or so ago when I was very small, about a little orphan boy. His name was Dondie. I cannot remember the movie.

I remember the comic strip, but I don't recall a movie. The comic ran for many years; my mom remembered reading it when she was a child. it was still running when I began to read comics I was little, and ran until I was about 16 or 17.
