Okay::
Herbert Hoover, the president during the depression made something called the trickle down theory. It was suppose to give money to people, and it was suppose to circulate, but it took too long. People complained they were still poor.
Soon, he launched programs that made many contributions to our modern soceity by launching programs to put people to work.
The depression did not really end till the start of world war two, where economy bustled to keep up with the demands of the war.
Hope this helped...

US involvement in World War II did it. While it is often thought that the Depression was just about over in 1940, it was not. That was a bad year, and 1941 wasn't a great deal better because nobody really thought that the US was going to get wound up in the war and thus factories were still operating on a Depression basis, with that state of mind. It was only until the Japanese paid us their visit at the end of 1941 that people could actually begin to eat regularly again.

The Great Depression ended about 1939. So, you're a bit late looking for solutions.

WWII., at least in America. The allies, and later, the US itself, needed all kinds of weapons, ammunition, clothing, and other supplies to support the war effort. To manufacture these things at the rate they were needed meant factories had to run 3 shifts instead of just 1. Those who were jobless were either new members of the armed forces or were employed to keep these factories manned 24 hours a day. Unemployment was unheard of. The boost to our economy lifted us out of depression. The rebuilding of Europe and Japan kept that boost going
