i agree with the GuitarMan that you have to develope your own taste.

anyway a few suggestions of classical music you can always listen to:
The four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi
A little Night Music (Serenade in G major) by W.A. Mozart
Toccata and Fugue BWV 565 by J.S. Bach
Canon in D major by Johann Pachelbel
1812 Overture by Peter Ilyitch Tchaikovsky
Overture from William Tell by Gioachino Rossini
O Fortuna from Carmina Burana by Carl Orff

I love Largo, A theme on paginni..in the movie "Somewhere in time ."the planets", I love to listen to movie soundtracks ..as the Gladiator , Hans Zimmer is a great composer.. very moving some of them..also from "Time Line", "Backdraft". they all have very powerful movements and strength in the music.. Not all classical music is just operatic .. It can be what enpowers emotions and memories . The Phantom of the Opera... I recommend going to a Barnes and Noble if near you to listen on their head phones the different cds they have to chose ones you like best.. hope this helps.. It'll save you money too from buying one and finding you didn't like.it.We go often...

... where "good" means what you like? All classical music that has survived did so because it is good. You have to develop a taste to understand it, but there simply isn't any poorly written, silly classical music.
