it is a d-link di-624 router.The company said it was not compatible for a firmware upgrade.I lost the cd and i already checked the website.

What exactly are you trying to do?

Your question doesn't make any sense at all.. neither does the follow-up.

Hmmm... You can download a firmware upgrade for the DI-624 directly from support.dlink.com, but there are no "drivers" to load anywhere for the router.

Also, the firware is device specific, so there may not be an upgraded firmware for you - that's perfectly fine.

firmware is not drivers...

plug your Ethernet cable link will go green
type the IP 192.168.0.1 in Internet explorer
admin no password

you have change it and don't remember IP and password
press reset button under router a couple of sec
then try IP from explorer

firmware is the program itself in your router. it doesn't need drivers to work. the wireless card in your computer is what needs the drivers for the card to work.

ummm..... are you in special class? there are no drivers for routers, just firmware which are easy enough to download and install

you dont install drivers on anything for routers
