I think it's a great name! I would go with Clara, instead of Klara. I personally prefer people use the common spelling on names, it annoys me when people try to get all fancy and change the spelling of the name.

I prefer it spelled Klara ;)

Also, it's not a made up spelling, it's the way it's spelled unless you are hispanic or American.

Clara was my great-grandmother, and when my parents named me after her they chose to spell it properly as a tribute to our heritage.

-BTW, other than my GGM I have never met another person with my name in my entire life, so if you aren't into all the Jessica's and Amanda's it's a good choice- and a classic!
