Actually....no. At the beginning of my school year, I wasn't use to this stuff called "Popularity". At my school before there was no such. But anyways....I learned about popularity and I didn't like the people envolved in it...but somehow I wanted be popular.So I tried to hang out with the popular folks....then I just got bored with em'. So I went back to my own friends. But I'm slighty moving up and caught myself between two popular people. Is that good?

it so easy to get caught up in it all! instead of thinking of it as populartiy look at all your friends and decide who you would like to spend more time with! knowing losts of different groups pays off in the long run means youve always got people round that will watch after you! plus these people will not be your friends forever... BELEIVE ME! it all changes later in life... it may look like fun to be popular but its the ppl that fight against it and make it clear they think labels are pathetic that the "popular" ppl want to be! thats what i did! by 4th year i was overly loved hos numerous friends in different groups and i didnt care as i was all about there personality... would you be friends with murderer just because everyone knew his/her name???

its silly to want to be popular if u have friends that support you there is no need for it its an attention seeking thinh u jus want peolp to like u. I am 21 now and finished school so take this advice from me wanting to be popular will change the person u are and also when u finish school get job will u do the same in work? Out in the real world people wont care if u had a throne in school so be who u are and let someone else be the fool

Well, do you like those 2 people. If you do, then you can keep being friends with them, but also, ask if your old friends can come hang too. And it depends on whether you want to be popular or not, usually popular kids seem like they rule the world, but they might go to parties and drink or do drugs, which isn't a very good thing. If you want to be friends with them you can, but that's your choice.

Not sure what you are trying to say, however, I found out about my-self, that instead of being some-one most people avoided, I am well-liked, by many people ; popular, well-known by many who are genuine friends, people who really like me. A word of advice ; it is not necessary to have a thousand friends to prove a point. Just make sure that you have at less a few genuine friends, and you will be very happy; you will easily forget the others who are not nice ; you would even forget that they exist.

Watch a film from my generation (I'm 34) called "Heathers" with Winona Ryder and Christian Slater: it may help. My own opinion is that it is much better to be yourself and avoid being influenced by others. Choose your friends on the basis of common interests and how much you genuinely like them. At the end of the day any popularity they have should be coincidental. Be friendly to everyone is my advice.

i would say you want to be popular is helps i used to be very unpopular and im slowly movin up and you like it more when your more popular, this doesn't mean you have to be the kooliest it just means have popular friends and hang out with them but also hang out with your old friends

dont act popular all the time , hang around with everyone. it must be great to be popular, my chance was stolen by someone but i love all the peeps in my class, im not popular but im still liked.

well it can be good if they r nice ppl most popular ppl r stuck up bitches who talk **** about ppl they cant be themselves and most are whores or if a guy hes a cocky sun of a ***** in my eyes id rather not be popular and have my owen life owen friends and have fun without trying to get all these ppl in school to like me ant worthit..

u have to ask urself this question, what means more to you actual friends who care about you? or shallow ones who wil backstab you? because the popular ones will not be there for you, its all in the image, and if thats all u want then go for it.

in all the films that's how america seems - that all you care about is being popular!
Hope it doesn't catch on, as all our girls in the uk will start having those spoilt whiney voices!
try being yourself and stuff who is popular and who isn't. And be friends with girls who interest you, not just because who likes them!!!
