Some of my favorite female authors are George Eliot, Ayn Rand, Willa Cather, Sylvia Plath and Jean Auel. And what about that lady that writes the Harry Potter books--she has a very interesting life story. Sorry I can never remember her name, but everyone else in the world probably can. Hope this helps. You're smart to start planning ahead now instead of waiting until the day before it's due. If none of these people interest you, go to the library and just look around. It's a lot more fun to write a paper when you've read a book or two by the author you select to write about.

First off, are you an esl speaker? If not, I pity your English teacher. I certainly hope you edit (first edit yourself, then have someone look it over again) your final essay.
Here is how your question should read in English:
I need a famous woman?
I have to do a report on a woman that's an author. I have to write a 5 page report on that person. Can you help me out? I can't find any women, and the report is going to be due in one week, so i really need help.
After seeing your language skills, I don't find it surprising that you don't know of any female authors. First, I advise you to actually read--it will improve your own language skills and prevent you from asking simple questions like this in the future.
Here are obvious female authors:
-Judy Blume
-Beverly Cleary
-L.M. Montgomery
-Lois Lowry
-Ayn Rand (although her writing would probably be too complex for you)
-Maya Angelou (ditto)
-Margaret Atwood
-Mary Shelley
-Mary Wollstonecraft
-Virginia Woolf

You could probably find a ton of information on Jane Austin, she is pretty popular. Though, if you aren't into books like Pride and Prejudice etc then she might not be the author for you :)
J.K Rowling wrote the Harry Potter books and has a pretty interesting success story, starting out as a poor single mother. Plus, I think she surpassed the Queen of England for wealth too. She might be an interesting author to research.
The authors of Nancy Drew Harriet Stratemeyer and Mildred Wirt Benson would also be interesting. They wrote under the name of Carolyn Keene. Plus, you'd find a lot of material on them and the effect Nancy Drew mysteries have had on generations of women.
Good luck!

Don't do J.K Rowling, that is too expected. I'd say Pearl S. Buck. "The Good Earth" was one of TWO books that I ever read in high school, the other being "Of Mice and Men". I cheated on all the other book reports, but only those two books I found interesting.

Just to say don't do anyone like beverly cleary. She just writes plot based books and you need someone that has written famouse masterpieces.
Ok here is a writer that is not very famouse named maria w. Stewart
She was one of the first black female political writers. Why is this so amazing? All of the characteristics about this person has had historical troubles. Black people were origionally not allowed to do anything, females had limited rights, and it was unthinkable to write such great political views. For all these reasons Maria is someone that deserves to get her name heard because of the boundaries she crossed.
