These are the SADDEST books ever, and they are very good.....theyre about child abuse...very touching....everyone should read them..

Yes, I've read all of his books and the one that his brothe Russell wrote. Apperantly after Dave was removed from the house the mother turned her evilness onto Russell and tormented him almost as bad as she did Dave. I say almost because she didn't stab or make him inhale that toxic concotion she created in the bathroom. What a sick woman!

Russell's book is called "A Brother's Journey" and the sequal is "A Teenager's Journey" He uses the name Richard to write under.

YES I read that book it WAS GOOD i did not wont to stop reading it i read all of DAVE PELZER BOOKS

i only read his first book "a child called it" not the others....but yes it was SOOO SAD and defiantly taught me something about abused children.

Yes, I have read them. Very sad, but he managed to get through it so it is also inspiring.

yeah i read it for silent reading in my school and i started crying, he has a second book i cant think of the name right now, but look for it!

It's horrible to think that those are true, and that a mother could actually treat her son in such a way.
