D-wade does get a hell of a lot of calls! Kobe is a standup guy and very generous. i've actually met the guy and he's a great person very nice and polite. i haven't met Wade but i have met shaq who was an ***.

the reason that d-wade ignores people is he wants attention on the court, not outside it. Ever since kobe got accused of raping that girl, he has been trying to clear up his image. thats why he is social on the outside. he is trying to make it seem like he is a good person and didnt rape the girl, even though he did. d-wade gets the calls like every other superstar in the NBA. the refs give the superstars calls, while they give nothing to the rookies. its not unusual for them to argue either. look at rasheed wallace, sam cassel, gary payton, and all of the other veterans.

I do notice that Wade gets those calls often.
Kobe, aside from his one fling with that girl, is a pretty standup guy. He really does pose for pics and he occassionally goes to the local gym to shoot around with the people there.

Kobe loves the bright lights on him though, Dwayne isn't that kind of guy. I don't know either of them personally so I can't answer like I know them or anything....but Kobe seems like he is very cocky and I could see why he'd want to be the spotlight. I understand why you'd think that isn't great of Dwayne, but think of how many people he's got in his face all the time, even on the court. Nobody plays defense in the NBA anyways, it's all about who can score more points. That's why NCAA is much more appealing.
