There is nothing really Floydesque my friend, they are one in a million. Of course, you could look into some solo work of Roger Waters and David Gilmour, but it still doesn't really do the justice of Floyd as a band.
Some may suggest Moody Blues, but I've never been a big fan. Greatful Dead, Alan Parsons Project (particularly the edgar allen poe cd) and Beatles certainly produced some good "psychodelic rock" . Might even go with some of the Doors....but to think anything will compare to the imagery and guitar solos of David Gilmour in the grandeur of Floyd fashion is but a pipe dream..
PS. God is in Comfortably Numbs guitar solo if you just know where to look.

I went and seen Roger Waters last year and paid $115 a ticket to go see him. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!!!!!!! Believe me it was the best show I've seen since Page & Plant "Coming Into Coverdale"
But as far as music to get lost in I have found no other than Pink Floyd. But for a sweet concert to go to and get lost in the feeling try Dave Matthews Band. Dave Matthews & also Jack Johnson put on a great concert and it helps that everyone is "into" it. You know it a calm crowd and everyone is having fun.
I wish you luck on finding a good band that makes music you can get lost in but it's going to be hard to top Pink Floyd.
The best part of the Roger Waters "Dark Side of The Moon Tour" was when the lady he had with him was singing Great Gig in The Sky. They showed a close up off her on stage and you could tell that she putting her heart into it and tears were streaming down her face to hold that note. It was one great moment for me.
Check out my videos below of the Roger Waters concert and see what I mean. Yes got a video of the FLYING PIG!!!!

I doubt that there might desire to truly be any band resembling crimson Floyd, they're merely, too of their very own. Or if there's a band accessible resembling crimson Floyd then it rather is in that they are accessible and unique, no longer that they are duplicating crimson Floyd's sound

have you tried solo stuff by roger waters or syd barrett?
when I want something like that, I usually listen to something electronic like goldfrapp, or some mellow trance ('as the rush comes' by motorcylce is a good example of that)
