I am both. While I could never condone an abortion, I feel that a woman should have the choice of what is done to her body. As long as Roe vrs Wade is the law of the land, I will support it even though I do not agree with it.

I feel that if people are responsible enough to have sex, then they can deal with the consequences. If a woman ends up pregnant after consenting to sex, then she should have to deal with what they created. If she doesn't want to raise the baby, then put the baby up for adoption. There are thousands of people who want babies and can't have them, so why not let them raise the babies? I am not for abortion at all, but I feel that if someone is allowed to have an abortion, it should only be under the circumstance of rape. The embryo is still a baby, and people can have abortions up to the end of the second trimester?! That's horrible. I am 27 weeks pregnant. My little baby was felt moving by the second trimester, so don't go telling me that the baby isn't alive. People shouldn't be allowed to kill an innocent baby based on the fact that they don't want to deal with what they've done.

Kmennie also has it right, take it to the correct category...this is NOT it.

im pro choice because i believe that a womans body and what happens to it are her own business and her own right and people really dont know what choices they would make faced with certain situations.
i dont think i could ever have an abortion and thats because i had a missed miscarriage and had to have a d&c to have my baby taken away it was heartbreaking and i dont think i could ever willingly put myself through that kind of thing again.
but i certainly wouldnt brand some woman a murderer for having an abortion it is a womans own right and choice to decide whether to have a baby.
pro life people are entitled to their own opinions but their opinions could change if they found themselves penniless and pregnant or raped and pregnant with their attackers child.
i dont think anyone should be allowed to judge anyone unless they have walked a mile in their shoes.

What I don't understand is why should we punish the baby for a fault he never committed? Was it his choice to be conceived? If you use the term "pro-choice", why cant we give the choice to the baby when in fact, he is the one who will suffer and violently mutilated? With regards to women who are raped, I understand their suffering. However, she can give the baby up for adoption if she really doesnt want the baby. There are millions of couples who wanted to have a baby but pysically couldn't. Seeing a life growing inside me (through ultrasound), its so breathtaking. I don't know how people could kill and still live their lives peacefully.

I am Pro-Choice.

Personally, I could never bring myself to have an abortion. However, if it is MY body, then I should have the right to make the decisions that affect it.

Pro-Choice doesn't mean a person is Pro-abortion. It means they are FOR CHOICE. Someone living 5 states away who doesn't know me from the next person should not make decisions for me.

I am pro life, because like the title suggest, I am for life. I have seen my baby's beating heart on an ultrasound, very early on and believe that that baby is a form of life and all life is to be cherished and respected.

pro-choice. i could never go through with an abortion myself, but know people who have. its a womans choice, it is her body alone. its a difficult decision to be made in any circumstances, and even harder to go through with it. i have seen the befores and afters of what people go through, and its not something they easily got over
