There are no dominate teams because WWE has been too focused on DX type storylines where they put two singles wrestlers together for a short time and call them a tag team. Until WWE does something to focus on bringing the Tag Team Division back to its old glory, then we are going to be stuck with crappy champions like DX and Rated RKO... teams that aren't even true tag teams.
TNA at least tries to have a storyline for the tag teams, but they only have 2 tag teams right now... so there is only so much they can do.

They have took the emphasise off the tag team divisions,
I believe Deuce & Domino could be a dominant tag team IF they would ditch those stupid persona’s.
The best way too find a dominant team would be to have 1 set of tag belts which are defended on Raw, Smackdown & ECW.
I don’t think there will ever be a team as dominant as LOD they were the best in every promotion they worked for around the world.

The writers have just completely ignored everything on the undercard. The IC title isn't even being defended at WrestleMania. And as of now, I don't believe the SD tag champs are defending either. The RAW tag champs are the two main eventers. There are no true tag teams anymore. The last decent tag-team (outside of London/Kendrick) was MNM.

APA were the best tag team, full stop.
I agree there aren't really any good teams out there today, except maybe DX. I'd like to go back to the days of the APA, Too Cool, and feuding between teams like Edge and Christian, the Dudley Boyz and the Hardy Boyz.

WWE is focusing more on their main events for WrestleMania, than anything else. Since then, the main stars got the spot lights while the tag teams stay quiet. Oh yeah, Shawn Micheals and John Cena are currently World tag team champions and are squashing other tag teams which is sad. Making future tag teams harder to dominate and make them look weak!

The problem is the WWE gave Cena and Michaels the tag titles when they have so many other great tag teams.....
I could have understood them giving HHH and HBK the titles, but HBK and Cena is just random.....
Think about this, they have MNM, the Hardyz, the Worlds Greatest Tag Team, and La Resistance; and none of them are doing anything. Any one of those pairs would make great tag team champs!!

Have to disagree with you there.We've had DX as top dogs til HHH injured his quad & there's Rated RKO - Edge & Orton.
You have Cryme Tyme,Shelton & Charlie (world's greatest tag-team) & the newest bunch Deuce & Domino.
Don't forget S/down's London & Kendrick & their bitter rivals MNM.And what about the Hardyz? They are a tag team now & again.We're spoiled for choice!

I absolutely lay the blame on the writers for the WWE. They suck big time! I hate that the writers snubbed William Regal and Dave Taylor of those tag team titles. They really did deserve those titles from London and Kendrick.
