I think you're misspelling the word 'organisms.' An organism is basically a living entity. More complex definitions might include that an organism's body can be divided into organ systems but general examples of organisms include plants, animals, fungi . . . . . I'm an organism and so are you!

An organism is any 1 living thing that has a cell to it. So yes a lion is an organism, it has more than I can count number of cells (blood cells, hair cells, skin cells...etc)
