She tends to make stereotypical comments that I find inappropriate. One of our mutual friends feels the same way I do and we are pretty tired of it. We would like to stay friends with her but let her know that we totally disagree with her. Any suggestions??

Oh, BTW, her kids play with my and my other friend's kids. We don't want our kids to hear stuff like that either.

Ask her polietly to not say those things because it offends you and other people.

If she doesnt listen be like " If you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all"

Often, racist comments come from a place of ignorance, rather than any explicit hatred of another race. Tell your friend that you understand that she is not a bigot, and let her know that you are concerned the she comes across as bigoted.

If that doesn't resonate with her, advise her that you are concerned that those comments are offensive to you, and that they reflect poorly on you, even though she is the one making them. This way, you can address the problem without humiliating her.

When she makes those comments just say, "I am not comfortable with comments like that." If she doesnt get it the first time hopefully she will the second. Saying nothing is the same as agreeing with her. Assume she does not know better but if she proves she does, the why do you want such a person as a friend.

honesty is the best policy if you guys are truly friends then friends keep each other on point if she has enough balls to make those comments then you must have enough as a friends to show her the error in her ways i.e. her remarks especially if she is offending you, be tact full and caring of her feelings but to let someone especially someone you consider to be friend display or act as a buffoon well that makes you just as much a buffoon see how easy that was hehehe. no, but you must tell her or she will continue to do as she does

You and your mutual friend should sit down and tell you other friend that her comments are a offense to both of and make it known that you still want to be friends with her, You just don't like her rude comments.

You should tell your friend her comments make you uneasy because if you two are really friends she will understand -also find out where all this hostility is coming from there maybe an underlying cause going on that she needs to talk about

i replace into fortunate adequate to be born to a kinfolk that disapproves of racism. besides the fact that if, some varieties of racism are diffused adequate that persons don't comprehend they're reflecting a racist theory (i've got caught, rooted out some in myself with the aid of the years). each and every each and every now and then I hear something that i'm getting a foul feeling approximately, yet its puzzling to pin down what precisely replace into incorrect with it, and then the thank you to speak approximately it, the thank you to cajole somebody that its genuine. i think of maximum racism between white people in usa is now exceedingly diffused, subconscious (and each each and every now and then takes the kind of self-hatred, like some Germans after WW2). ever hear the word "a splash awareness is risky"? people in many circumstances think of they comprehend greater suitable than they do. racism is born no longer out of finished vaccuum, yet out of *some* adventure, from which persons draw conclusions that are way too great, or are a effect of way of life no longer genetics. habit is cultural. visual attraction is genetic. some issues - like hairstyles - have fun aspects of the two. Its exceedingly difficult in usa, the place race and way of life are tied at the same time so tightly that maximum persons don't comprehend the version. One occasion: in usa, chatting with a guy or woman on the telephone you are able to often tell what race a guy or woman is. In Britain, speaking on the telephone you are able to often tell what their income point is. In many of the international, cultural transformations replicate many things different than race.

That person shouldn't be stereotyping, and if you find that offensive then nicely tell your friend that she should stop stereotyping and when she does to give you a call. Or you can just tell her to stop making those remarks and tell her how you feel.

Just be honest and tell her. If she is a true friend to you she will stop. If she chooses to stop being friends with you over this then you know she was not a good friend to begin with. Just don't make it seem like you are attacking her, and don't do it in front of others.

if she's your friend you shoul be able to tell he if she gets upset or mad that you told her the that should tell you to keep her as a distence friend or not a friend at all but if she say's i'm sorry and tries to change then she's ok but if you feel scared to tell her then she would not be a friend of mine because friends should be able to tell each other anything and if you have the dvd madeia goes to jail then you should skip it to when she walks in on her nephew sitting on a chair listening to sad songs and pay attention to what she tells him how she rates a friend.
