My first bf and i broke up about 2 1/2 years ago and i had couple of exes after him and i am now in a stable relationship with this guy for almost 6 months. Now, this first bf of mine never had any girl other than me. So he's been single ever since we broke up. Recently, I heard that he likes this girl and liked her for a while. He almost brought her flowers on valentine's day but didnt know how. Anyway, as far as i know, i'm LONG over him. How come i'm feeling this...jealousy all of a sudden? i dont get it at all! My other exes who have girlfriends after me, doesnt bother me at all but this particular guy....it does.....why???

Somewhere inside you still have feelings for him. You must still have some contact or someone tells you about him for you to know that he almost bought flowers for someone. I think there will always be a special place in your heart for him. Don't worry to much about it unless it effects your relationship that you have with this guy.

Personally i believe that you never Fully lose feelings for someone you have liked/loved. I dont know if this boyfriend was significant or closer to you than your others, but it seems like he might have been. That bit of jealousy is totally normal because you probably don't want him to move on from you. He may have a long time ago, but it wasnt noticeable until now. Long story short- i think you may still have feelings for him more than any other of your ex's ?.

I know how you feel. That is how you know you are really in love. Even when you're over someone special, and even if you resent them, a part of you still loves being around them. But don't forget: love is a b****.
You can either tell him that that's how you feel, or try to forgive and forget him. That's the problem with dating a bf. Once you cross that line, you can never go back.

Because he was your first love. I was like that. I dated him for 2 years on and off. I still love him but i'm not in love with him. i heard that he has a feoncee and a baby on the way, i'm sore about it because he cheated on me all the time. and i wanted what he has now with her. but were still friends... but yeah like i said, he was your first love, and you'll always love him.

Its in all the songs, girl. You never do get over your first. Its just that way. Just accept the feelings, and forget them when you can. Don't dwell on it, you're not doing yourself a favor.

It's possible that you never got closure with this guy. You have to stick to your guns if you are really supposed to be over him. If you have a great guy, just stick to him and stop worrying about your ex.

You never forget your first "love"(more like puppy love). Its okay to think of them soemtimes but it seems to me that you may have stronger feelings....Why don't you speak to him and see if the feelings are the same?

You are suspicious that there is still SOMETHING as you have had attention on this ex.
So.... do you still have feelings for him?
If you are willing to examine this issue you may find out why you are still keeping tabs on what he is doing etc.
