How Can Conservatives Take Back The Public Education System?

As a person that was fed liberal garbage his entire career in public education I'm asking how can conservatives indoctrinate impressionable children like liberals have been doing since the 1960s?

With a phony war to stir up the sheeple, vouchers so fundies can brainwash their children, and cutting the education funding as Bush has done for the last two years in a row.

First, we should have vouchers for school. Public schools are monumental wastes of money. In Europe they spend probably one-fifth as much, and kids in Slovakia or Germany generally learn math and science much better than American kids. Therefore, throwing money at the problem is not the answer.

It's too bad that Christian religion is on such a downturn, because no one can teach better than Catholic Nuns! Nowadays, everyone has an excuse for not learning. Maybe someone recently immigrated to the U.S., so English is not their primary language, another kid has been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Syndrome, etc.

Catholic nuns took kids who were "straight off the boat" and quickly had them learning as well as their native-born classmates. Attention Deficit? Nuns don't buy that cr@p. If you don't pay attention, she wacks you on your knuckles with a ruler, and soon you learn to pay attention. Namby pamby Liberals just don't get it.

Another huge flaw in our system: we need to bring back Civics Class. Hardly anyone even remembers how vital this was in our history when people from all over the world, most very poor, came to America. My father had Civics Class, and he understood how our government operates, the principles and philosophy on which our nation was founded, what a person's responsibilities ought to be in society, etc.

This is how conservatives should take back education!

I swear I have no idea how to solve this problem. I had to suffer through it when I went to college. Now my kids have heard liberal bias since middle school and in high school. My kids brought up the problem to me and I was very proud that they recognized the problem without my husband or I carping about it. Yet, it does make me sick to my stomach that the teachers have so much hatred and unchecked power of indoctrinating our youth.

Sad to say, but it has been our greatest failure. In the paraphrased words of Bluto Blutarski, "Face it, we f***ed up, we trusted them" with our children.

The road to recovery is to continue to expose them for who they are. And eventually, the decent people of this country will take them behind the woodshed and get this settled.
