Yes it is possible to still have a period and be pregnant. I had two periods after I became pregnant. And a friend of mine continually had her period throughout her entire pregnancy.

These can be signs of pregnancy. Sometimes you can have a light period due to stress or hormonal fluctuations in your body. If your cramps are truly bad enough to classify them as "terrible" then I would recommend you contact a doctor right away as you could be experiencing an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy or there could be something else seriously wrong. Good luck!

Yup it sure is possible to get your period when you are pregnant. In fact, a friend of mine still had her period once a month through her whole pregnancy! Crazy, but it can happen!

it could be... one of my friends bled through 7 months of her pregnancy, but still produced a healthy baby boy. unfortunately for another friend, she had a period that she described as a 'dribble' at the start of her cycle, and it turned out that she was pregnant but miscarried... good luck!

Yes you can have your period when you are pregnant, but it is fairly rare. I would bet not, but you should do a test, just in case.
