The only answer I could think of is that he's a REALLY late bloomer. It is weird how LOST he really is and that fact that he JUST lost his virginity, despite the fact that he's a balding 30something year old. Its more sad then funny. I thought the show would be hilarious because its a Seth McFarlane project, but I think its best to stick to Family Guy.

Keep in mind this a TV show, and by him being clueless it gives them so much material to work with. We don't need to know why; do we care about Stewie Griffin being the way he is? No, we just laugh. Let's do that with The Winner, people.

From what I'm able to gather, he hit puberty really really late. So, he's a 30-something grown man, but acts like a teenage boy. Also, I think his mother may have sheltered him.

He is a late bloomer, lives with his parents, never had sex, never had a job, doesn't have friends.

I can see why he is so clueless.

By the way, I think the show is AWESOME and I love it. Haha.
