Just to follow up on what the great Alpha Wolf has said
1. The Star Player is the best Player in the league
2. Jerry Buss as an Owner has at least twice as many rings than any other owner in the league.
3. They are in the playoff hunt right now in the west, where as if the Heat was in the west, they would be thinking about the lottery.
4. At least the Lakers Star player can make it through a whole season with breaking a finger nail and missing 40 games.
5. Andruw Bynum can make free throws.
6. LA is the best NBA city, where the weather is usually hot and the women are hotter( Give or take a few)
7. Phil Jackson has more rings than ANY OTHER living coach in NBA history( MJ and Shaq had none before Phil came along)
8. Lakers star player also leads the team in assists.
9. LA sticks by its own people, loyalty is hard to find these days, espeacially with all you band wagon fans, who only likes teams your favorite player goes to.
10. Since the Lakers have the BEST player on the planet, there will always be a chance.......

I always find if funny when people say that Kobe sucks but yet they never give an argument for someone who is better. So if Kobe(3 rings, scoring title, All Defensive team, 81 points in one game) sucks then who playing right now is better and why?

Anyone who thinks kobe sucks is a hater.Even if you dont like him you have to acknowledge his talent.I never liked MJ but I know he is the second best player ever after Magic Johnson.
