Is Jodan Tootoo the biggest sissy in the NHL?

I must say, after all my years as a hockey analyst, he stands out as one of the all-time sissy's of the league. He sucker punches or cheap-shots anyone he can, but he won't back up what he says or does man-to-man.

One of these day's someone is going to cheap shot him BIG TIME and you'll hear him crying all the way to the hospital...

I just can't stand a player who wont stand up for himself one-on-one.

He's no man, he's a mouse.

Everyone that is not a Predators fan hates him, but that's because he's the type of player you love on your team and hate on others. If you look at the facts though, he NEVER throws a dirty hit, EVER. And he will always drop the gloves and is not afraid to go toe to toe against anyone. He turned from Bootland because there was a penalty called on Bootland and he didn't want to waste the PP advantage. That's not being a puss, that's being a smart player. If you want to start talking about cheap shots, how about the elbow Chelios threw? Or the guy that broke Nichols thumb with a slash? Neither of those were called, yet when Tootoo hits the ice and lays some redwings flat he's all of the sudden a skill-less goon. WTF ever! Anyone who actually pays attention to the game knows that he brings a lot more than physical presence. He has an Awesome slapshot that actually he needs to use more. All you people whining and complaining about him are just mad the Preds have one of the best records in the league and are kicking everyone's a** on their way into the Stanley Cup finals.

Youtube him and I am sure you will net quite a few clips of him being a man. You talk like he never drops the gloves. It is his job to go out there and throw the body around and get under the other teams skin. Like I said-he can throw down pretty good. Just ask Robidas LOL. Seriously though, if Robidas wasn't knocked senseless and they just dropped the gloves, my money would be on Tootoo.

Slink H-yeah you are a retired NHL veteran alright. If you were then you would know that Lemieux's nicknames are turtle and Claude the fraud. The Cam Neely turtle job was the WORST EVER-bar none but being a former NHL player, you would know that. Nonetheless, Lemieux was known as one of the biggest hearted play-off competitors that ever played. Wow, you are full of it.

Also, yeah, they are just using him as a token. That's a great analysis.

He's not a sissy BUT he is useless for the game. A 4th line winger who's BEST assett for his team is making an *** out of himself... He's lived off of cheap shots, his type of skater is a big problem in this game... violent with little skill and he doesn't even give others a chance to drop their gloves.

I like Barry Trotz and I understand a coach has to defend his players but saying that Tootoo was protecting "his honor"???????? C'mon, that was one hit that really needed to be distanced from the whole organization.

youthful lady... a ordinary condom can envelop an everyday height human male from head to toe. Thats 6 feet lengthy... uhh 2 feet or 3 feet huge... i imagine.. he may be attempting to tug a short one on yah :) in case you experience he's telling the actuality there are Trojan Magnum XL condoms, yet that's what I do.. im no longer gonna lie and say i visit fill out an finished condom yet i actually have probs with the girth. Of all the players I've ever seen Mike Modano is the biggest pansy going. This guy throws a lot of crap around (elbows, but ends, knees, high sticks etc) and then hides and lets someone else handle his fight.
Tootoo may not have Modano's skills but he has 10x the heart and is way more of a man than you or Modano will EVER be.

I agree, when challenged he backs down. He tries to play it off as if he 'drew a penalty' however, protecting your honor has more to do with dishing it out, but then standing behind your actions when challenged.

Did anyone see the game where he dropped the gloves on Daryl Bootland from Detroit? Bootland is a fighter, but Tootoo dropped his gloves, started waling away and Bootland wasn't even aware a fight was going to occur!?!?! Later in the game Bootland challenged him mano-a-mano and Tootoo backed down like the little chicken **** he is!

Claude Lemiuex was kind of the same way when he played, but the difference is Lemiuex would tangle with ya'. In that case it's okay to be hated if you are willing to tangle.

in any case, Tootoo should make the best of it. He wont have the luxury of time like Tie Domi did.. ****, even Tie Domi was loved by other hockey towns..

I think the Preds and NHL are using him as a token anyway, just to say they have an indian minority in the leauge!!

i dont know where u get this "he won't back up what he says or does man-to-man" stuff. i've watched lots of preds games and he takes on guys way bigger than he is regularly. he's like 5'8 for crying out loud. did you see the fight with mayers of st. loius earlier this season? or o'brien of the ducks? youtube that. then youtube shawn avery. he's the biggest sissy in the league.

yes he is. watching the wings predator home and home it was insane he must have had at least 6 or 7 cheap shots on the wings he even left his feet on a check then when bootland tryed to fight him he was jsut trying to run and hide.

but he does provide good entertainmen becasue he tryed to check one of the wings by their bench and the guy stepped outta the way and he flew into the wings bench and couldnt get his stick back it was great.
