solve the inequality 9x+2631 these are two different problems...... thank you.

These are done just like regular problems. Here's the first one to help you out:
9x + 26 < x + 2
Subtract 26 from both sides.
9x < x - 24
Subtract x from both sides.
8x < -24
Divide both sides by 8.
x < -3.

4x+3>31, 4x>28, therefore x>7

if you cant do the first one......... then ur in trouble.


at least in the second one you will need to divide by neg four.

just like a normal equation
8x + 26 < 2

get the x s all on one side the rest onto the rightside of the equation. just write your sign instead of the equal sign
