Tough request. There's a book out there called "Writer's Digest" with an inventory of publishing companies who accept querries and a section in it specifically for song-writers. I believe they also have a "Songwriter's Digest" which focuses on subject that alone. If your song has any merrit at all, someone MAY pick it up, or ask for a demo. But this is a VERY slow process. You could also try finding an experienced band in your community with access to a recording studio to make a demo, pump it out on a local radio station for feedback (usually public radio stations). With any luck, someone in the listening audience will pick it up. You may not need someone famous to pick it up. If it's worthy, you may make someone else famous with it. Be prepared for a lot of rejection, because that's what the entertainment bizz is all about. Good luck.

It is very hard to become a song writer. You should try starting off small, perhaps entering poetry contests. If you do good, they you may get recognized a bit easier. There are tons of poetry websites out there, there are also alot of song writing contests too. Just be sure they are legit before you do submit anything.

Do please send it to me. I would like to hear it. My e-mail is lil_bell_55@yahoo.com. Ok!?!? Wow thats weird that I actualy found someone else who writes songs for fun!! I write songs myself !
Frist it depends on the type of song, who you like as a singer, and wether a guy or girl should sing it.

start small. get a friend to sing it in bars and stuff. then go somewher big where agents and stars might hang out. get your friend a gig there and if its good enough someone big might talk to you and you might hit it big time. also send it to record companys like sun and geffen and see if they take it. hope that helps

Look around for different recording companies. Go on Myspace and find them and email them your lyrics. But have them copyrighted first. May you please send me the lyrics? Want to check 'em out! email is thebeautifullqueen@yahoo.com
