I was talking to this guy in an office, for about 40 minutes and having very good eye contact, he acted as if he was hanging on to my every word. I did the same thing and I actually caught him looking down at my chest then back in my eyes...It's been pretty clear that there's a lot of attraction there. As I got up to leave, we continued talking and I went to take notes of what he was saying, writing on my paper and steadying it on my hand (because I was wearing a low cut shirt and bending over to write on his desk would have...well, been too much.:)).
When I looked up at him after taking notes (now I was standing), he was steadily looking to his left, with a half smile on his face...It was as if he had been looking at me the whole time but didn't want me to see it! It happened twice.
Do guys try hard NOT to stare at a woman they find attractive (when the attraction is clearly prohibited, as in this case)? I know he's attracted to me, just not what the looking away to his side means.

No, there was nothing to lie about, he was just giving me his professional opinion and Iw as taking notes.

NO, I was not exposing my chest, I went out of my way NOT TO, by NOT using his desk to write on when I was standing - I wrote on my hand instead, continued to stand.

I was not bending over, as I said, that would have been too much. Even a modest top (that's not too low cut, which is what I was wearing) would have been too revealing if I had bent over to use his desk! So I didn't...but still, he was looking away.

In "body language" , looking to the left, indicates lying. Was what he was telling you, the truth? Could he have been lying about something? Normally, a person that looks to the left while talking to you, is not a truthful person. I would be careful with this guy.....oh, and STOP flirting with him.....you said it was "clearly prohibited!"

Well, maybe your overlooking a simple posibility, maybe he is attracted to you, and maybe he wasn't looking the whole time. It is possible that he was gentelmanly enough to turn away while you inadvertantly exposed more than you may have wished to. I think you should be so lucky to have someone as respectful as him be attracted to you.

obviously he was looking at your chest, cause it was showing, and I think you meant for it to happen all along.
Of course a guy would look at a womens chest, if they wore a low cut top, just like you did!

I doubt that he is interested in you, he was just perving at your chest love.

Looking away to his side means that he is controling himself to not too deeply attracted to you. Your further action is depended on waht is his marital status. Be wise.

he is looking away to his side because he thinks you caught him looking at your chest. You should just walk up to him and say " i noticed you noticing me noticing you notcing me.....hahaha
