What is you guys's favorite death metal songs? I want to know cus I'm bored and I want to hear some good ones I haven't heard before. Mine are Beneath the Remains by Sepultura, Troops of Doom by Sepultura (The one off of their 2nd album), Where the Slime lives by Morbid Angel, and Blinded by Fear by At the Gates. And every song off of slayer's album Reign In Blood (even it's more thrashish, like some of Sepultura) Yes Melo death metal counts too.

wow hard question man, my fave death M type songs would be....

Amon amarth - death in fire (OH YEAH!)

Amon amarth - valhall awaits me

In Flames - Moonshield (their old stuff rules, new stuff sucks)

In Flames - Jotun

In Flames - Artifacts of the black rain

Obituary - the end complete

Sodom - Agent orange (thrash with death M singing)

Sodom - Napalm in the Morning

Destruction - Thrash till death (thrash, but if you liked slayers RIB)

Anything off fear factorys "digimortal", awesome death/industrial CD

Almost everything by deicide and bolt thrower

Not much of it is pure death metal, just death metal type stuff... and all of it kicks ***, if you like sepultura and all, youll love this. Im more of a heavy/power/thrasher myself, but i love all metal, and this stuff will get your head banging.

good question! \m/
