The concrete slab at the side of my house cracked and as a result was almost separated into 2 parts. 1 side is now lower than the other side. Can I just pour cocrete over the two slabs to make them level? Or do I have to remove the slabs then pour concrete on the natural ground?

You need to remove and re pour. If you are in freezing area, the crack is due to the ground heave with frost. If you are in a heavy clay soil, you need to dig it out at least 6" and then fill with sand. Make sure you compact the sand good. The only guarantee I give as a contractor with concrete is that it WILL crack. Even with saw cut control joints, the concrete still cracks.

You can do either but the best way is to repour the slabs. Crushed stone should be put beneath the concrete to prevent cracking from frost.

You need to level the ground out, then maybe put the slabs back over it and maybe patch it or just pour new, but make sure that the ground is level and that it isn't going to settle much after you level it.

you can repour, but will it happen again? the answer depends on your finances. i would suggest remove old slab, remove dirt, put in compactable base and repour.

our contracted told this to me, and i just found it amusing, there is two types of cement, freshly poured cement, and cement ready to crack....with my opinion i think u have to jackhammer the old out, and put in the fresh layer, at least that is what we have had to do

You need to find out why it cracked first then worry about it
