Disney does not actually have a grocery store, but they do offer some breakfast type items in their stores and even in some of their food courts. Be sure to ask what you can use your snack points for, some resorts offer a lot more. For example, I think Pop Century still offers a dozen donuts for one snack point, so that would give you a few days breakfast, depending on how many people are going and how much you plan to eat. The value resort food courts tend to be the best when it comes to getting snacks and stuff like this, unless you are wanting something besides breakfast, in which case there are some better options. But using your snack points won't take away from any of your regular meals. You could also get the refillable mugs and get coffee and things like that (not sure if you will have a fridge for juice and things) you could also buy a carton of milk each morning, or juice.
There are a few grocery or convenient stores that you could walk to from Downtown Disney, but the walk is kind of long and isn't always safe, so I don't know if that is something I would suggest. But, here are two other suggestions to consider. First would be to do a private towncar transfer. A lot of the companies in the area will give you a 30 minute grocery stop so you can run in and pick a few things for breakfast, or snacks. The company I use is really great and goes to the grocery store they shop at, that way you can avoid paying the higher prices that some of the stores have because of their location. You could also just pack some breakfast items in your suitcase. Things like pop tarts, granola bars, cereal, etc. are all easy to pack and you can get them right at home and then you won't have to spend any time buying groceries.
I hope this helps.
Have a great time and enjoy the dining plan!

There is no grocery store on Disney property. Most gift shops inside the Disney resorts, however, sell items such as cereal, milk, juices, pastries, etc... so you should be fine.
If you don't mind a little stroll, you can walk outside Downtown Disney to the Goodings Market, which is located just outside the main entrance to the Downtown Disney Marketplace on Apolpka Vineland Rd. There you can pick up any items you like. Nutri-grain bars are great!
Have a great vacation!

Like the other answerer's have stated WDW property itself does not have a grocery store, but they do have several Hess Gas Stations that sell pop tarts, pastries, juice, milk, etc... along with the gift shops in the hotels (which will be more expensive). There is a Goodings located across the street (off SR-535) but is very expensive, if you have a rental (car) then you can drive a minute further and go to Winn-Dixie (off SR-535, left at the light, right two lights down) where it is cheaper.

It is dangerous to walk around traffic in Florida even Disney. At night it is suicidal so buy something in the gift shops.Gooding's market is on the other side of a six lane highway and the intersection is the access to Pleasure Island so it is very busy.Even Celebration,Florida which is supposed to be walkable is dangerous because traffic is speeding and night visibility is getting worse because the flouresent streetlights are getting dimmer with age.Celebration should have Christmas lights all year because it is brighter and traffic slows down. There is a British Pub that has a double decker bus that will pick you up and was speeding through Celebration at night. There are no Segways around Celebration or Baghdad because you only get one mistake.
