C Jorge Posada
1B David Ortiz
2B Ray Durham
3B Shea Hillenbrand
SS Julio Lugo
OF Lance Berkman, Andruw Jones, Gary Sheffield
UT Josh Barfield
BENCH: Nick Swisher, Curtis Granderson, Garrett Atkins
SP: Chris Young, Ted Lilly,
RP: B.J Ryan, Ryan Dempester,
P: Ben Sheets, Erik Bedard, Bartolo Colon
BENCH: Mark Prior, Scott Olsen
(Also give me your starting lineup, plus the rating of this lineup. Also somebody dropped Morgan Ensberg. I think he's going to have a bounce back year. I've never heard of Shea Hillenbrand or Garrett Atkins. Is Ensberg a better choice? If so who do I drop to pick Ensberg up? )
I also had the following trade offered:
Torri Hunter, AJ Burnett, Salomon Torres for Josh Barfield, Gary Shiefeld.
Do you accept based on my roster? Okay thanks and good luck. Best answer wins.

Alright- I made a mistake. I had Shea Hillenbrand on the bench. I took a look at the numbers. I must have changed that. So Atkins is starting. Ensberg clears waviers the 20th. I'll be sure to grab him.
Also I got rid of Prior and picked up Nate Robertson. (good or bad?) I know the guy wants Shefield, so I proposed another trade and trying to get AJ + Manny.
Also I saw Dan Wheeler out there? Is Lidge the 'closer', and will Wheeler get any saves or innings? Worth a pickup?

Atkins is a great playerand gives you everything u need so put him in ur starting lineup at UT aand put Barfeild at 2nd Base and take out durham because he is getting oldand his good years are over. No Don't pick up Ensberg (u don't need 3rd baseman) or accept the trade because u don't need a SP or an OF. Yes Torres would help u because ur RP's are very weak. But Barfeild and Shiefeld are too valuable.
Here is my team:
10 team league - head to head
C-ramon hernandez
1b-pujols
2b- Ryan Freel
3b- Rich aurilla
ss- Hanley ramirez
OF- Beltran, Jermaine Dye, Grady Sizmore
UT- Julio lugo, Stephan Drew
SP- Carpender, Capuano, Kazmir
RP- Nathen, Wagner, Cordero
P-Schmit, Hudson
BN- Timlin, Wainwright, Zumiya, Robertson, James, Millwood

Your team is OK, but you must keep Garrett Atkins. In fact, he's in the top 5 3B -- make him a starter and bench Hillenbrand. Also, I like the trade offer you received -- Sheffield might have a good season but you are loaded in the OF. Starting Jones, Berkman and Swisher will do just fine. And you can move Granderson to utility, or look for someone else to pick up.
I would also look for another 2B. Durham won't get you a lot of points so there may be a mid-level 2B who will give you something -- look for someone who can steal bases since you don't have many SB threats.

Well first off you need start garrett atkins. You wont win nothing with him on the bench. I also dont think you will get anywhere with josh barfield starting. I think you shoulld start swisher at UT. But other than i wouldnt take that trade. You never know with either of those pitchers always on the DL. Also, gary will have a better year than all those guys together.
So start swisher and atkins if you want to win, but if you do these things your team is like a 8.5-9. Good luck

oh god........
your pitchers are horrible. sorry if i dont get the points but thats the truth. You need to pick up David Wheeler. Hes the reds closer this year, great chance hes a free agent. Drop Ben Sheets, he is WAY over rated. try and go for orlando hernendez. he'll bring in K's or Doug Davis. Hes gonna give 200+ innings. Colon is eitehr way. MOVE HILLENBRAND. he is going to suck with the wind blowing in at PacBell.
i say pick up Josh Bard. he is very underrated and will be the Padres starting cather. and Nick Punto. he has the 1st and 3rd base eligability and he is ognna brign steals.
C posada
1b ortiz
2b durham
3B Hillendbrand (its your funeral)
SS Julio Lugo
OF Berkman
OF Jones
OF Sheff
Bench Swish, Granderson, Atkins
SP Chris YOung, Ted Lilly
RP BJ , Depster
P Ben Sheets, Erik Bedard, Bat
Bench Olsen, Prioir (cut him too, big mistake picking him)
also try for Edwin Encarnancion. Hell be the reds starter this year

You need help in the following areas. Catcher,3B, SS,SP. Not bad but???? Posada is weak.Hillenbrand bites Atkins is a better choice but I'd pick up Ensberg. Drop Shea.Lugo is worthless.Starters aren't bad but they can carry your team. The trade isn't bad Hunter is ok and Burnett would help the rotation. Good luck.

Ok look, you have an overall good team. Out of a league of ten people you would be fifth or fourth I guess. Your weak in your bench, pitchers, 3B, and SS. Pick up Ensberg, and definitely take the trade because I think A.J. Burnett is a steal. Good Luck and follow my advice if you wanna be second or third.

no longer undesirable you've sturdy commencing pitching, with francis, hill, peavy all 15 sport winners as for rp, you would possibly want to get a star by ability of trading pedroia with neshek or soria for someone like billy wagner or someone like that i dont recommend having konerko at firstbase, he has a low everyday in the different case, exceedingly sturdy
