What is a fair price for sperm donation?

I work with a woman who is looking for a sperm donor. This woman happens to be gay and in a commited relationship. She already has a 3yo daughter from a previous donor. She would like my son to be the donor and he is willing to do this as well. What is a FAIR price for all parties involved? FYI this wont be done the "conventional" way. It will be done by turkey baster

You mean besides the free donations eagerly inserted by amateurs?

I was checking it out a few years ago and the clinics were offering between $50 and $75 for specimens from choice males (unfortunately, I wasn't their choice). I heard that the sale was about $200-250, material only, fertilization services were said to be in the very low 4-figures depending on what needed to be done. But that was a few years ago.

Interestingly, that is sort of what is going in the Chickweed comics recently. (The gay guy is trying to get the hetero girl roommate to help him procreate, in a clinical way)
