some people feel the need to interfere with other peoples lives? is it some feeling of guilt that THEIR life sucks?? anything else?? i would really like to know why people assume other people want their help in matters that really dont concern them

There could be any number of reasons. For example, they could be bored with their own lives, excessive "nurturers," believe (presumptuously) that they're right, controlling, or just plain busy-bodies. The best is to avoid them, if you can. If you can't, just be noncommittal with "um hmmmm" & go on doing what you believe in. Also, there are times when simply speaking of a problem, others "assume" you want their answer. People who interfere by actively involving others is quite another story.

It's easier to get involved in the lives of others rather than dealing with your own. It creates a distraction from the issues that you should really be trying to work out in your own life. Like I once heard someone say, "Why should I get a life when I have yours?" Pathetic maybe, but true. Drama kings and queens... you know?

1. Some idiot is about to influence their life.
2. They can't watch some idiot do something so stupid it's like watching a train wreck.
3. Idiots hurting someone or something they love.
4. They promised idiot that they would always be there for them; and this sometimes means acting like the "Buster" for Idiots own good.
5. Idiot is breaking the law.

That depends. For some it's a control issue. They want to impose their will, ideas and values on others to feel good about themselves. But if it's someone that really cares about you, they are going to tell how they feel about a given situation whether you like it or not.

a lot of times it is just to take attention off of themselves....other times they are genuinely trying to help dont hate them for that
