Sometimes I get the feeling my friend likes me, but I keep telling myself it's not possible. Whenever he sees me he smiles - a proper, face-lighting-up smile. He sometimes smiles at me across the room for no particular reason. When we're walking somewhere he walks really close to me, but I might be imagining that. He'll often sit next to me, either when we're at friends' houses or at church (where I know him from). Recently he's started apologising if he doesn't sit with me - saying things like 'I've just got to go and talk to ...' when I'd made no mention of him sitting with me. I talk to him a lot, and sometimes he asks me questions like when my birthday is. He tells me a lot about himself and his family, and has confided in me when he's had problems with one of his friends. He'll always talk to me when he sees me, and sometimes I get the impression he's trying to be close to me or coming to things because he knows I'll be there. He's shy so it's hard to tell what he's thinking.

If he's shy he probably does like you a lot but he just doesn't know how to tell you or what to do about it.

If you like him, make the first move and see what happens.

I would ask him directly if he likes you in a romantic way or just as friends, then you know and can take it from there. There are too many guessing games when it comes to pairing up so it pays to be direct if you want to find things out. I know this might not be the way things are conventionally done but if he is so very shy, you could find yourself in for a very long wait otherwise. Good Luck!!

Its hard to tell. You know him best. He may just be being a good friend. He may like you more than he is trying to let on. Do you like him? Do you want to go out with him? Take it easy and if you do want to be more than a good friend to him you find that you are doing similar things to what he is doing. In the end you can always decide just to be good friends but if it could be more than give it a go otherwise you may regret missing an opportunity. Good Luck!

Um Id say that your friend is ripe for the picking.. should you decide to harvest this thing :D

Get in there! If he is shy than it has to be you to make the first move! And if you are wrong (I doubt it).. big deal - he will probably be flattered anyway!

"He's shy so it's hard to tell what he's thinking",

and ,

", but I might be imagining that."

and

"I get the feeling my friend likes me, but I keep telling myself it's not possible."

Please do something for me. Re-read your question, but leave out these three sentences.

I see it. My real question is, why don't you?

well i think that you're the one who likes him. afterall you wrote a whole page about him and obviously you're not admitting it to yourself.
if you cant handle a day without thinking of him, then its love, from your end...yep.
