Some do of course but society in the past has let men be selfish and self-serving in certain ways and if woman do the same thing they are penalized and criticized more . Woman in the past have been raised to be the servants of the human race and to put others before them. This isn't so much the case now but there are lingering misogynist attitudes.

Because they think they can do no wrong. For instance if I tell my husband he is selfish he will fine a explaination why he has the right to do what he does. I could knock him out sometimes. ha ha.

my man won't admit to anything....he is NEVER wrong, even when all the evidence is stacked up proving he's wrong....he has an answer for ANYTHING you throw at him......and as for excuses...he is a PROFESSIONAL at thinking up excuses on the spot (without having to think about it first) for anything!!

because their huge ego and small brains prohibit them from proper manners and basic social skills, but their are as you say, a few exceptions.
