I have to agree with the one above me who said Ricky Calmbach. I have his CD's and have seen him live a few times. He's just awesome. It's a shame that's he's not better known than he is. I've also personally met him and he's just so easy going and down to earth! (at one small venue he played he even invited everyone out to a ranch for an after party!!) He also has a page on MySpace where you can listen to a few of his songs.

Another one I would recommend is Doug Moreland. He has several CD's out but only a couple are actually songs. The rest are comedy. If you're easily offended, I'm not sure I would recommend them. But he's a very talented individual. He's a comedian, a musician, an chainsaw artist, just a jack of all trades! He also has a page on MySpace if you want to check out his music.

Hope this helps!!

Depends on what you mean by undiscovered. We play a ton of great Texas Country artists that are not on the Nashville charts and for good reason. Texas artists like to make music with an independant flare.
I really like Sonny Sweeny, Rick O'Toole, Todd Fritsch (who is hot in Europe), Ricky Calmbach, and a bunch of others.
You can hear them on the internet at the stations site. We play great Texas music and not just the "Texas Charts" that are made up of other artist not centered in Texas. Hope that answers your question. Happy listening.

Kim Scott from Kingsville, Texas. I last heard her on March 16th at Double A's Bar off 14th st in Kingsville. She blew us all away and we are going back this weekend to see if she is there again. She can sing anything but mainly sticks to country and rock.

Kinda Bluegrassy, I love em' though. Caught a set of theirs at SXSW and it blew me away.
