By acheiving the ability to modify our environment to suit our needs would the human body need to evolve nearly as significantly over the next 100,000 years as it has in the past 100,000?
If so what would be the biggest determining factors?

evolving is less now because natural selection has no presence

Unless we all stop having babies and go extinct, we will continue to evolve. Now, don't take that as meaning we'll grow wings or something like that. But we could lose our wisdom teeth, and our brain size could continue to grow. Human evolution in the past 100,000 years was somewhat significant, sure, but if you met someone from that time, he or she would look indistiguishable from any other contemporary person.

Now, if we were to colonize other planets, our evolution could be quite dramatic, over a million years or so. Perhaps even less than that.

Interesting question...I don't think we have completely stopped evolving physically because evolution is such a slow process that we wouldn't see the changes in our lifetime. But you bring up a good point about how we can alter our environment, so we wouldn't need to "adapt" so much anymore. There's still some things that could happen though. For example, losing our pinky toes! I mean, come on, do we ever USE them?

The short answer is no. Example: The third molar has become less and less prevalent over the last thousand years. It lacks completely in more than 10% of today's population.

No, as evolution is merely the change in allele frequency over time in a population.

i belive that this not true because we would have to envolve to fit our enviroment. so either we will die or we evolve....i mean changes like the world flooding or valcanos clouding the sky, stuff liek that.
