I am 4 weeks and 6 days pregnant. My beta hcg level is 4000 as of today. The doctor is saying this is a little high. The charts I have been seeing show that this is still in the normal range. I am freaking out and was wondering if anyone else had high hcg levels and a normal pregnancy and healthy child or any advice or comforting words...

BTW, I know that I am exactly 4 weeks and 6 days because I had invitro fertilization done so I know the exact date of fertilization. Because of this I know that the dates can't be off and be causing my numbers to be off.

I am 30 years old. They only saw one gestational sac today at the ultrasound but I have ovarian hyperstimulation from all the meds I was on for the invitro. They said this could keep them from seeing a twin until my ovaries go back to being their normal size. Plus, at 4 weeks, 6 days, the embryos are so small they said it would be easy to miss the twin. It could be "hiding".

It sounds relatively severe, so i would not concern. yet to be hassle-free, you won't be able to tell something by utilising a single HCG huge form. you pick yet another try achieved in 40 8 hours to verify that they've doubled. That being pronounced, you're already a techniques sufficient alongside that it's going to no longer be a concern, fantastically in case your midwife certain you each and every thing is advantageous.

sure your not going to have twins?...I just looked this up, and I bet your pregnant with twins...a molor pregnancy mostly likely happens when your under the age of 15 or over 40....or then last but not least, downsyndrome... How old are you?

I think exactly the same as the first two answers.
