There's a bug and i think it's dying...?

and I don't want to kill it...should I just put it out of my misery or should I let it live its last couple of minutes?

Put it in the toilet. Problem solved. You didn't kill it, and now you don't have to watch it die. Plus now it can't come back to get you, if for any reason it lives.
