I need to publish booklets like I do now in Publisher.

Adobe InDesign ... that's industry standard. Get the whole Creative Suite while you're at it.

You can buy version CS2.3 now but keep in mind that version CS3 will be out shortly.

Hi Robbie,

The Macintosh basically pioneered desktop publishing. The DTP programs for the Mac are far superior and more powerful to MS Publisher. Quark and InDesign are the leaders in the market, and you can certainly download some demos of these programs, but you could probably also get along with PageMaker or some of the older DTP programs (depending upon your Macintosh).

I personally like and use Adobe InDesign CS2. I'm a printer and InDesign is a very good program. Best of luck with your decision.
