My son has to make a boat w/household items for a school project. It must float. Any Ideas??? Thanks?

Popsicle sticks
An empty soda bottle, cut down
A cut-down bar of soap (carefully)
You can also make a boat out of paper, but then coat the sides and bottom (parts that will be submerged in water) in paraffin wax or possibly crayon applied thick.

If you have a milk carton, cut that and shape into a boat shape. Any other bottles would work as well.

What about a plastic egg carton with sails taped/glued in it.
