First make sure you have a wireless lan thing.(linksys)
then go to sony.com and look for the #

the PS3 doesnt have wireless internet, it has a wireless network adaptor which allows you to connect to a wireless network within range so you need a wireless router or access point connected to the internet to connect the PS3 to get the net on your console

go to settings, network settings, internet connection settings and then you need to make a wireless connection with an access point such as a router
